The Programme Team is responsible for the smooth functioning of all the programmes of MMC.
Mrs. Vrushali Naik - Senior Programme Coordinator: Mrs. Vrushali Naik is the Sr. Programme Coordinator at MMC and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She began her journey with MMC soon after completing her MSW and has since been associated with the organisation for nearly three decades.
With her long-standing experience and deep understanding of MMC’s work, she plays a key role in strengthening programme implementation across centres. She is a central pillar in building and maintaining relationships with builders and other construction sector stakeholders, facilitating the establishment of MMC’s day care centres at construction sites.
She also leads the Community Outreach Programme (CORP). Through her dedicated efforts and extensive experience, she has significantly contributed to expanding MMC’s reach, ensuring that more children of construction workers and those from allied industries receive safe care and early learning support.
Mr. Pradeep Shinde - Senior Programme Coordinator: Mr. Pradeep Shinde is the Sr. Programme Coordinator at MMC and holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He has been associated with the organisation for over 13 years and brings 27 years of experience in the social development sector.
At MMC, he leads the Saksham Programme, which focuses on supporting migrant construction workers and those from allied industries by creating awareness about welfare schemes and facilitating their access to entitlements. The programme also assists workers with registration under the BOCW Act and accessing other relevant government benefits.
With his extensive experience and deep understanding of MMC’s work, he plays a key role in strengthening programme implementation across centres. He is instrumental in liaising with government departments and works closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including government and non-government organisations, to enhance programme effectiveness. Through strong networking, coordination, and team planning, he also contributes to initiating new programmes that expand MMC’s outreach and impact among construction worker communities.
Ms. Sunita More - Programme Associate: Ms. Sunita More is the Programme Associate at Mumbai Mobile Creches (MMC), where she plays an important role in overseeing MMC’s day care centres located at construction sites and allied industries. In addition to this responsibility, Sunita also leads the Mobile Bus project, a special initiative of the organisation.
She works closely with programme teams to monitor implementation, coordinate activities, and ensure that the centres function effectively, continuing to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children it reaches.
Sunita holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and has been associated with MMC for the past three years. Before joining MMC, she has 23 years of experience in the social development sector, where she was actively involved in community-based programmes and grassroots initiatives. Her field experience and commitment to child welfare contribute significantly to strengthening the reach and quality of MMC’s programmes.
Ms. Ranjana Khirade- Programme Associate: Mrs. Ranjana Khirade is the Programme Associate at Mumbai Mobile Creches (MMC), where she plays an important role in overseeing MMC’s day care centres located at construction sites and allied industries. She works closely
with programme teams to monitor implementation, coordinate activities, and ensure that the centres function effectively, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the children it reaches.
Ranjana holds a Master’s degree in Non-Formal Education and Development from S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Churchgate. She has been associated with MMC for the past three years. Prior to joining MMC, she was closely associated with the Salaam Bombay Foundation for nearly twelve years, where she served as a Team Leader and was actively involved in community-based programmes and grassroots initiatives.
Her extensive field experience and strong commitment to child welfare contribute significantly to strengthening the reach and quality of MMC’s programmes.
