Mumbai Mobile Creches is a non-profit organisation that has been supporting the health, safety and education of children living on construction sites for the last four decades. It runs day care centres on construction sites themselves. It has been a pioneer in developing early childhood education programmes and curricula. In Mumbai, it serves over 4700 children through 28 centres every year.
Mumbai Mobile Creches is seeking an experienced person who can efficiently manage and supervise financial operations at Mumbai Mobile Creches. This will involve managing and overseeing the smooth functioning of the activities such as:
- Prepare all financial reports.
- Supervise petty cash and fixed assets management
- Review and approving monthly payroll
- Review bank reconciliation, approve all vouchers and invoices and prepare the annual budget.
- Manage all other accounting and finance functions.
A Masters in Management (Finance), Cost Accountant or a Chartered Accountant and at least three years of experience is expected.
Fluency in English and Hindi is a must. Fluency in Marathi is desirable. Candidate must be comfortable with the computer especially Word, Excel and internet.
Mumbai Mobile Creches office is in South Mumbai. Working hours are 8:45 am – 4:30 pm. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month is a holiday.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
